Varnishing process that provides an aged appearance to the surface as time goes by.
The action on the support and the craquele of the surface, produce a great aesthetic beauty  “antique” effect.

The application of the process following the guidelines of the notes that we describe in the process, is important for the achievement of the result.

CRAQUELE EFFECT PROCESS (AGED OAK)

Step 1: Preparation of the support
On oak. No pre-sanding required.
Step 2: Aged surface
Spray application of AQ-100. Let dry for 30 minutes. Spray application of AQ-900 in drops form and let dry completely (5 hours).
Step 3: Transparent craquele primer
Apply a layer of 100 – 120 g/m2 and let dry for 8 hours.
Step 4: Craquele topcoat application
Apply a layer of 80 – 150 g/m2 of CQ-016/450 depending on colour. The greater the amount of the product, the greater the opening of the craquelé effect would be. Let dry for 8 hours.
Step 5: Protective topcoat application
Slightly sand with 400 – 600 grip and apply a coat of 100 – 120 g/m2 of the clear topcoat. We recommend the use of acrylic topcoats in selected degree of gloss.
